Jewelry Store Worker Claims She Can Spot A Cheater

Guys who have affairs may think they’re good at covering their tracks, but one woman says it’s easy to spot a cheater in her business. Sarah Renn, who works in a jewelry store, says she can tell when a man is cheating by what he spends his money on.

She started working there a month after finishing her postgraduate degree and claims she figured out the tell-tale signs within a month on the job. The first red flag? Buying two different pieces of jewelry. According to Renn, if men weren’t cheating, they’d probably buy a set for their wife, like matching earrings and a necklace.

Another sign is if he says his wife only wears yellow gold jewelry, then he asks to see a piece in white gold. “You could tell that this was not for his wife because his demeanor would completely change,” Renn explains. “He’d start looking around, he would start stuttering and he’d say, ‘yeah, just put that on the tab, too. She’d like that.’” And if she asked him about it, he’d start making up excuses. It’s also a dead giveaway to her that he’s being unfaithful if he asks for the items to go in two separate boxes.
