A clump of Mick Jagger's hair from the early '60s is going on the auction block.
The locks belong to the grandmother of Chrissie Shrimpton, a girlfriend of Jagger's before he hit fame with The Rolling Stones. Grandma apparently gathered the hair out of the drain after Jagger took a shower at her home. The auction house, Bonhams, says, "Apparently, on her grandmother's death, the hair passed to Chrissie's aunt, and when she died, the hair was returned to Chrissie by a cousin taking care of personal effects."
The hair will go on the block on July 3rd in London, with proceeds going to the charity Changing Faces. It is estimated to sell for between $2000 and $4000.
A couple of clips of Keith Richards' hair recently sold at auction for $1400.
